Position Summary  
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Sr. Analyst plays a critical role in supporting financial planning, cost analysis, and operational decision‑making within Olam Peanut Shelling.  This position partners closely with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to provide accurate cost insights, evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement across production processes.
  • Position Responsibilities 
  • Perform variance analysis, including material, labor, overhead, and production efficiency variances.
  • Review perpetual inventory, physical inventories, and reporting and analysis of variances. 
  • Provide audit support to both internal and external auditors. 
  • Perform cost accounting for process costing including absorption rates, cost estimates, product set-up, activity rates, and SKU profitability. 
  • Support month‑end close activities related to inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and plant-specific performance.
  • Prepare and analyze manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and operational performance reports.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Partner with supply chain and production teams to evaluate scrap, yield, and throughput metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost accuracy, financial processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform sales analysis and reconciliation of Sold Position, absorption of cost drivers, and Exposure report. 
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
 
Position Requirements  
  • CPA or CMA, preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.  
  • 3-5 years progressive finance experience is required.
  • Experience with SAP, Tableau, and other integrated reporting solutions is preferred. 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required. 
  • Excellent teamwork, relationship building, and coordinative skills are required. Must be able to work with diverse team across geographies. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
