Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support restructuring efforts for firmwide global transformation by creating analyses, facilitating communication with subject matter experts, and managing implementation timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams on restructure transactions to identify key business opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare presentation materials for senior leadership by analyzing strategic options and gathering input from other functional leads.
  • Manage project plans by facilitating working group meetings regularly and updating PowerPoints and other tracking documents.
  • Liaise with the different global business units to evaluate potential acquisitions, mergers, dissolutions, and other business development opportunities, and prepare the business cases to be taken for approval to senior leadership.
  • Update legal entity metrics and summarizing key data points, as well as creating comparisons to past metrics.
  • Monitor different aspects of large divestitures and AIG separation (including systems analysis, tracking deadlines, and following up with key stakeholders).
  • Facilitate intercompany dividends and loans by preparing materials for board approvals and engaging the correct teams for analyses and parties to execute.
  • Support Capital and Liquidity BAU and transformational initiatives: planning and execution
  • Prepare Cost Benefit analysis
  • Prepare Data Analysis for business data and financial data
  • Prepare Corporate Valuations
  • Prepare pro forma Financial Statements
  • Balance Sheet analysis (US GAAP and IFRS)

Position Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • 5+ years experience in financial services / consulting / Insurance / Banking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure - maintain attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to deliver solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

For positions based in New York and New Jersey, the base salary range is $79,000-$99,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
