The Opportunity

The Sales Analyst - eCommerce will support internal leadership and customer sales teams in providing comprehensiveamazon account analysisand reporting. Key focus on analytics to includecustomer profitabilitymeasures, key customer shipment and consumption activity. Update reports to track team progress to goals and create/build new reports as needed to keep up with the evolving needs of the business. Complete ad hoc requests as needed by the Sales Team.


Provide internal and externalsales managementwith the tools and real-time analytical capabilities to support sales strategies, execution and measurements. Capitalize on process synergies andautomationby partnering with internal departments and developing standardized, efficient and repeatable processes.

What You'll Work On

  • Providesales analysisand data insights to assist in achieving eCommerce account quotas.
  • Address and resolvedata integrity, integration and system issues.
  • Identify and respond to opportunities to automate processes and streamline efficiencies.
  • Perform comprehensive business reviews, using retailer-preferred metrics andindustry analysis.
  • Manage, track and report promotional performance and ROI
  • Develop, review and support programs that will increase Gross Margin, Turns, Contribution Margin, etc.
  • Provide timely analytical support for team personnel onretail salesrelated opportunities including opportunity gaps, innovation observations, retail pricing, promotion analysis, retail projections and returns.
  • Update standardized shipment and consumption reports to track team's progress to quotas/goals.
  • Assist National Account Managers withdemand planningandfinancial forecasting.
  • Analytical lead in thebusiness planning processand associated tracking to goal.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of Abbott computer systems, Nielsen, account-specific data sources, Abbott's data system, Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access), Outlook and the Internet.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-2 years' experience in Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations or Customer Service. Previous experience working with a sales organization.
  • Knowledge ofAmazon systems(ARA, Vendor Central, etc) and programs a plus.
  • Strong analytical ability and interest.
  • Ability to independently create and manipulate data inMS Excel/ MS Access.
  • Ability to independently create presentations inMS PowerPoint.
  • Interest to advance into sales, marketing and/orcategory managementroles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
