This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to provide quality mental health services to a diverse clientele while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at improving the emotional and psychological well-being of our clients.
About the OrganizationAt Mind Saver Mental Health Services, Inc., our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health support that empowers individuals to overcome challenges, achieve personal goals, and enhance their quality of life. With a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices and collaborative approaches, we strive to create an environment of trust, compassion, and empowerment for each young person we serve. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and is committed to professional development and ethical practice.
Work EnvironmentThis role is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The outpatient setting ensures you will be engaging with clients who may be managing chronic conditions, life transitions, or emotional distress. You'll have access to a range of digital tools and electronic medical records systems to document patient progress, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to formulate accurate diagnoses and collaborate in creating tailored treatment plans.
- Utilize electronic medical records diligently to document patient progress and update treatment interventions, ensuring that all client interactions are logged appropriately.
- Attend and actively participate in regular team meetings, clinical supervision, and training sessions to enhance service delivery and remain current in methodologies.
- Provide resources and assistance for clients facing financial or social challenges, linking them with external support services when necessary.
- Commit to ongoing professional development, fulfilling requirements of licensure renewal through workshops, courses, and certifications as needed.
- Maintain a current CPR and First Aid certification, as well as a valid Oregon driver’s license, to ensure client safety and compliance with organizational standards.
- Adhere to Mind Saver policies and ethical codes, ensuring high-quality service even in high-demand situations with significant caseloads.
- Flexibly manage your schedule to accommodate client needs and maintain consistent communication with your supervisor regarding workload priorities.
Your primary focus will be on young individuals who are navigating a variety of personal and academic challenges. These can range from anxiety and depression to adjustments in family dynamics or school-related stress. The demographic you’ll serve includes diverse backgrounds, highlighting the importance of cultural competence in delivering effective mental health care. You will work to foster a safe and affirming environment that allows clients to express themselves, validate their experiences, and actively participate in their healing journey.
Qualifications- A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (such as MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution is required.
- An independent license to practice in Oregon is mandatory (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
- Demonstrated understanding of mental health assessment tools and therapeutic methods applicable to diverse populations.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and high caseloads effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients, families, and team members.
- Experience working with young populations in a mental health setting, particularly in community-based programs or outpatient services.
- Knowledge of local resources for social services, financial assistance, and support networks relevant to client needs.
- A history of managing a full caseload while maintaining a commitment to providing high-quality, individualized care.
The salary range for this position is between USD 50,000 and 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and wellness.
- Life and disability insurance to provide peace of mind.
- Professional liability insurance covering your practice.
- An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering support for mental health and work-life balance.
- Minimal paperwork to focus more on client care rather than administrative tasks.
At Mind Saver, we are dedicated to the professional growth of our team members. You will have access to ongoing training and advancement opportunities, allowing you to develop new skills and specialize in areas of interest. We believe in fostering a culture of learning, enabling you to take on leadership roles, develop new programs, and contribute to our community impact.
