Financial/Administrative Assistant


Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Compensation: $19-$23/hour, Depending on Qualifications

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and 401k

Location: Albertville, AL


JOB SUMMARY

The Financial/Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing direct support to company leadership and manages the day-to-day financial and administrative activities of BAP Agency. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position maintains the agency's financial records, processes invoices and payments, and provides requested financial reports. They play an essential role in maintaining the company's financial health, reputation, and relationships with vendors and clients. They ensure timely, accurate, and ethical accounting practices. In addition, they provide administrative support to the CEO and facilitate client engagement.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience in bookkeeping or financial administration will be considered.


EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration.

2 years of experience providing administrative support to senior management or high-level executives.

Demonstrated proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

Experience maintaining general ledgers and managing small business financial records.

Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).

Strong proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for financial reporting and tracking.

Intermediate to Advanced skills with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive).

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently to meet deadlines.

Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.

Demonstrative initiative and ability to work independently without constant supervision.

High level of discretion and trustworthiness with sensitive information.
