Description

The Accounting Associate will report to the e-Comm Finance & Accounting Manager and will assist with billing, and recording routine transactions and reconciliations associated with 80+ stores within the e-Comm business function.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains daily cash activity and books routine cash entries
  • Enters credit card reports into general ledger
  • Reconciles various basic general ledger accounts
  • Prepares basic journal entries for month-end close
  • Assists e-Comm Finance & Accounting Manager with general ledger analysis
  • Runs month-end reports
  • Researches and clears general ledger reconciling items
  • Supports the Finance Team in the coordination of the quarterly review and annual audit with outside auditors, including preparation of work papers
  • Maintains adequate documentation and support for financial records


Requirements

  • Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of directly related experience (bookkeeping, accounting specialist)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality financial reporting
  • Intermediate Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks desirable, but not required
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, self-motivated and resourceful in problem solving
  • Excellent Communication skills and collaboration with internal and external customers
