Join a highly skilled team of The Ascendancy Group’s (TAG) Headquarters professionals by supporting TAG’s Operations Department in an essential coordination and administrative role.


Overview

As a TAG Project Administrator, you will provide critical administrative, coordination, and organizational support to project teams and TAG leadership. Working closely with the Operations Department, you will help ensure smooth project execution from kickoff through closeout by maintaining documentation, tracking milestones, coordinating schedules, and supporting communication between internal teams and customer representatives such as the KO, COR, or TPOC. This role supports cross-functional collaboration, assists with project documentation and reporting, and helps maintain alignment across Recruiting, Finance, Security, and other supporting departments. The Project Administrator also contributes to proposal preparation, contract documentation, and day-to-day operational support to keep projects on schedule and within scope.


Security Requirement:

· Ability to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance is required.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Administrative Support

  • Assist with coordinating cross-functional teams to maintain alignment on deliverables, timelines, and project requirements.
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, trackers, and action items to support project visibility and accountability.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and distribute follow-up actions to ensure clear communication across teams.
  • Support the Operations team by helping organize workflows, updating project files, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor project progress and assist with tracking performance metrics, budget updates, and milestone completion.
  • Prepare and distribute routine status updates and reports for senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with identifying potential risks or issues and help coordinate solutions with the Project Manager.

Contract & Proposal Support

  • Assist with preparing project execution plans, cost estimates, and proposal documentation.
  • Review statements of work and contract requirements to ensure administrative readiness and proper documentation.
  • Support contract closeout activities by organizing files, verifying deliverables, and ensuring compliance with internal processes.

Operational Support

· Coordinate project activities, logistics, and administrative tasks to support smooth execution.

· Help maintain compliance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures by coordinating with relevant departments.

· Support customer communication by preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and ensuring timely follow-through on action items.

· Assist executive leadership with meeting preparation, documentation, and assigned administrative tasks.


Position Requirements:

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative, project coordination, or operations support experience, preferably on a DoD contract or within SOF/IC environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and documentation processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to high-volume workloads.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project support tools.

Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification (not required).
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS is beneficial but not required.
