Job description

40%     Research: Develop and sustain an active program of scholarly research in finance and related fields, leading to publications in high-quality academic journals, scholarly presentations, and other research contributions
40%     Teaching: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in finance and related disciplines. Contribute to student learning through instruction, mentoring, advising, curriculum development, and other educational activities that support the mission of the School of Business.
20%     Service: Engage in service activities that support the area, school, university, profession, and broader community. Contribute through committee participation, professional engagement, outreach, student support activities, and other service contributions appropriate to rank and expertise.,The School of Business at the University of Kansas is searching for up to two Assistant Professors in Finance for the 2027-28 academic year. These are full-time, academic-year tenure-track positions. 
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge through high quality publications in leading academic journals, to teach courses with rigorous academic content at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level, and to engage in service and outreach activities that advance the educational mission of the School of Business and the University of Kansas.
