Senior Accountant

Ariva Homes | Laredo, TX

Ariva Homes is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Laredo, Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Support audit and tax preparation processes as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
  • Assist with internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform additional accounting duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
