Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Finance Manager to manage technology financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will partner with IT and Finance leadership to ensure effective management and optimization of technology investments and expenses.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage IT financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Track and report technology spending, operating expenses (OpEx), and capital expenses (CapEx).
  • Partner with IT leaders, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders on financial planning and cost management.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
  • Monitor budgets, identify variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support annual planning, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and financial close activities.
  • Analyze technology costs, vendor spend, contracts, and resource expenses to identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Support financial governance for IT projects, programs, applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.
  • Develop financial models and business cases for technology investments.
  • Ensure accurate financial data, reporting, controls, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in IT Finance, Technology Finance, FP&A, or Financial Management.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience managing IT CapEx and OpEx.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Excel and financial reporting/ERP tools.
  • Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IT cost optimization, cloud financial management/FinOps, vendor management, and technology investments.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, or similar financial/IT management platforms.
