About the Role

As a Real Estate & Finance Associate based in our Philadelphia office, you will serve as a strategic advisor on a wide array of high-profile property and commercial finance transactions. You will navigate every phase of the deal lifecycle from initial acquisition and development to complex construction financing, preferred equity investments, and debt restructurings. Key Responsibilities
  • Transactional Leadership: Represent buyers, sellers, and developers in sophisticated real estate transactions, including high-value acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Commercial Finance & Lending: Advise both institutional lenders and corporate borrowers on intricate construction, permanent financing arrangements, and preferred equity investments.
  • Debt Restructuring: Formulate and execute legal strategies for complex debt restructurings and workouts.
  • CMBS Transactions: Assist with and navigate Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) loan structures and compliance.
  • Collaborative Execution: Work closely with firm leadership, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to manage workflow priorities, meet strict deadlines, and deliver flawless client service.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4-6 years of dedicated real estate and commercial finance law experience within a reputable law firm environment.

  • Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, or prepared to take the PA Bar exam promptly upon hiring.
