What does a finance manager do at an RV dealership?

A Finance Manager at an RV dealership is responsible for helping customers secure financing and insurance for their RV purchases. They work with banks and lending institutions to find suitable loan options, explain financing terms to buyers, and process all necessary paperwork. Additionally, Finance Managers may offer extended warranties and other protection products, ensuring compliance with regulations while aiming to provide a smooth and transparent purchasing experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a finance manager at an RV dealership?

A Finance Manager at an RV dealership needs strong financial analysis, sales acumen, and in-depth knowledge of lending and regulatory compliance, often supported by a degree in finance, business, or a related field. Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS), loan origination software, and relevant certifications such as AFIP or F&I certification is typically required. Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and communication skills help build trust and close complex deals. These skills ensure legal compliance, maximize dealership profitability, and deliver a positive customer experience throughout the financing process.

Job description

Systems Administrator — IT Operations

Bish's RV · Meridian, ID (Boise metro) · 10–15% travel

About Bish's RV

Bish's RV is one of the largest family-owned RV dealership groups in the country — 28 locations coast to coast, 1,200+ team members, and continued growth through acquisitions. Our technology team keeps our stores connected, our people productive, and our systems secure, and we're doing it while building real enterprise software and modern, AI-powered capabilities from the inside out.

Why this is a good job

Most systems administrator roles live at companies where technology is a cost center to be tolerated. Bish's is the opposite. Leadership here treats technology as a competitive advantage.  We're investing in a modern analytics platform, building applications for our stores and customers, and embedding AI throughout how the business runs.

You'll own a big piece of the operational backbone that makes all of that possible. When we acquire a new store, you're one of the people who helps walk into an empty building and turn it into a fully connected, fully equipped Bish's location. That's a rare combination: enterprise scope and the satisfaction of work you can actually see and touch, plus the room to shape how a growing company incorporates technology.

The kind of person we're looking for

We want a builder and a partner. The best person for this role:

  • Sees IT as a partner to the business. You'd rather understand what someone is actually trying to accomplish and find a smart solution. You go looking for problems worth solving.
  • Thinks in automation and AI, not just tickets. You're the person who notices a task being done by hand fifty times and builds something to do it once. You use AI tools to move faster, drafting and debugging scripts, speeding up troubleshooting, and rethinking workflows.
  • Wears many hats and likes it. One day you're troubleshooting a network issue at a dealership, the next you're rolling out a security control or bringing a newly acquired store online.
  • Is technical and curious. You can go deep on networking, identity, and endpoints yourself, and you stay current because you want to.
  • Communicates like a human. You can explain a technical issue to a salesperson, a service tech, or an executive.

What you'll do

Networking & infrastructure (primary focus)

  • Support and improve network infrastructure across 28+ locations
  • Work hands-on with firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and wireless networks
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues in retail and office environments
  • Assist with network design, standardization, and upgrades during store acquisitions
  • Partner with ISPs and vendors on installs, outages, and service improvements
  • Maintain documentation for network configurations and standards

Cybersecurity (implementation & execution)

  • Own the implementation and operation of cybersecurity tools and solutions, including endpoint protection/EDR, email and phishing protection, MFA, and Conditional Access
  • Drive security hardening and vulnerability remediation
  • Participate in incident response and follow-up remediation, in partnership with our MSSP's SOC
  • Turn security initiatives into practical, deployable solutions and help make good security the path of least resistance for our users

AI-enabled operations & automation

  • Use AI and scripting to automate routine work, reduce repetitive tickets, and improve reliability
  • Help administer and support the enterprise AI tools our team members rely on:  access, onboarding, usage guardrails, and responsible-use support
  • Partner with our software and data teams as AI becomes part of how the whole company works

Systems, identity & cloud

  • Administer Active Directory and Entra (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Support identity lifecycle management, access controls, and the move toward a more structured, enterprise-grade access model
  • Assist with device management and endpoint configuration (Intune or similar)

Growth, acquisitions & hardware

  • Provision, image, and deploy hardware for new and existing locations
  • Support IT onboarding for acquired stores, including migrations and go-live support
  • Help standardize hardware, configurations, and deployment processes
  • Ensure backups and recovery processes are in place and tested

Day-to-day support & continuous improvement

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support and escalation across dealerships and corporate offices:  desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Onboard and offboard employees with the right equipment, access, and permissions
  • Evaluate tools, technologies, and vendors, and look for ways to streamline systems and improve reliability
  • Document processes and share knowledge with the IT Ops team
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with the IT Operations team, providing limited after-hours and early-morning support for critical business issues and store operations
  • Document solutions, troubleshooting processes, and operational standards so recurring issues become easier to resolve; share knowledge across the IT Operations team and help reduce future escalations through coaching and documentation
  • Continuously evaluate existing tools, new platform capabilities, and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen the overall IT toolset

What we're looking for

Required

  • 3–6+ years in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration
  • Strong hands-on networking experience (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and real-world implementation
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
  • Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
  • Comfortable supporting multiple locations and jumping between priorities
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • A genuine interest in using AI and automation to do the job better
  • Willingness to travel 10–15% and work occasional scheduled Saturdays during major go-lives

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting retail, dealership, or other multi-location environments
  • Experience with acquisitions or large-scale rollouts
  • Familiarity with Intune or endpoint management platforms
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell a plus)
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to write scripts, speed up troubleshooting, or automate workflows
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft

You don't need to check every box. If you recognize yourself in most of this and you're the kind of person who brings ideas, we want to talk.

Why Bish's RV

  • High-impact role on a small, trusted IT Operations team where your work directly supports stores and customers
  • Broad exposure across networking, security, systems, AI, and field operations
  • A clear path to grow deeper into infrastructure, security, or automation ownership
  • A leadership team that sees technology (and the people who run it) as a real competitive advantage
  • Family-owned culture built on our core values: we are Genuine, Fun, and Driven by Results, and we believe in being "Different with a Purpose"

Perks

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and supplemental coverages
  • 401(k) matching
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Employee discounts and gym membership reimbursement
  • RV Borrowing Program
  • Access to a partner insurance agency for personalized quotes across home, auto, RV, and specialty products
  • Opportunities for advancement and an incredible team culture
