Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Manager of Finance to join our finance team. The Senior Manager / Director of Finance serves as a strategic finance business partner supporting executive leadership and multiple functional areas across the organization. This individual will play a critical role in financial planning and analysis, business decision support, capital investment evaluation, executive reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance Business Partnership: Serve as the primary finance partner for multiple business units, collaborating with department leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, operating plans, and key performance metrics. Provide financial guidance, translate complex financial information into actionable business insights, and support cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance and profitability.
  • Financial Planning & Performance Management: Lead monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive performance reporting while monitoring departmental spending and key performance indicators. Partner with business leaders to improve forecast accuracy, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support informed decision-making through proactive financial analysis.
  • Strategic Finance & Executive Decision Support: Develop financial models and perform ad hoc analyses to evaluate strategic initiatives, business expansion opportunities, capital investments, and long-term planning initiatives. Support executive leadership with data-driven recommendations, including analyses related to mergers and acquisitions, new business opportunities, and enterprise-wide strategic projects.
  • Capital Planning & Investment Analysis: Evaluate equipment purchases, financing alternatives, lease-versus-buy decisions, and other capital investments. Partner with Procurement, Operations, and executive leadership to analyze financing proposals, vendor agreements, and capital expenditures while supporting long-range capital planning and resource allocation.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Process Improvement: Develop executive dashboards, enhance financial reporting capabilities, and leverage ERP and business intelligence platforms to deliver timely and accurate financial information. Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and scalable reporting solutions that increase efficiency and support organizational growth.
  • Executive & Corporate Finance Support: Prepare financial analyses and presentations for executive leadership, Board meetings, audits, lender requests, and other strategic initiatives. Collaborate across the organization on high-impact projects while serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters that support the company's long-term objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (MBA or CPA strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, or corporate finance experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical aptitude to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and propose solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise accounting systems and the ability to optimize processes and leverage technology for efficiency; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, organization, and maintaining clean, reliable financial records under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success leading both in-office and remote teams, fostering accountability, growth, and collaboration.
