YETI is seeking a highly motivated Finance Systems Manager to join our Finance organization based at the company's corporate headquarters in Austin, TX. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director Accounting and sits at the intersection of Finance, IT and Data/AI. Role is responsible for administering key finance systems, leading execution and coordination of project management activities, driving process optimization, and enabling the broader Finance team to leverage technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision making.

The ideal candidate combines strong finance process knowledge, systems expertise, and project leadership skills, along with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

Finance System Administration

  • Serve as system administrator and subject matter expert for core finance systems (e.g., ERP, consolidation tool, credit card payment processor, gift cards, etc.)
  • Lead execution of master data governance processes for core finance systems, ensuring alignment with established policies and controls.
  • Review and control security access permissions for financial systems.
  • Provide systems support for BPC, including running periodic batch loads for BPC.
  • Review and prioritize open tickets with finance management and IT support teams
  • Troubleshoot system issues and partner with IT and external vendors to resolve efficiently

Project Management

  • Serve as the Finance Project Manager for key IT initiatives impacting Finance. Partner with leadership to provide structure, governance support and visibility across Finance system initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver finance-related system implementations, upgrades and transformation initiatives.
  • As required, partner with the broader Finance team to define project scope, requirements, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of projects
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing for financial systems and projects (test script design, coordination of testing sessions, logging defects/results)

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Partner with the Finance team to identify opportunities to leverage automation tools, data analytics, and AI capabilities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Lead implementation and support adoption of new tools and digital capabilities within Finance, in collaboration with functional leaders.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for key processes and system workflows

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant roles building transferable skills
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred but must have hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and finance tools (e.g. Hyperion, OneStream, Anaplan).
  • Strong understanding of master data management and required maintenance processes
  • Strong understanding of finance processes (close, consolidation, planning, reporting)
  • Proven project management experience, including driving business requirements, performing UAT, and assisting with system cutovers
  • Experience implementing or supporting AI, machine learning, or automation solutions within finance or enterprise systems
  • Ability to translate between business and technical teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail with a focus on controls and accuracy
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
