Position Summary
We're currently looking for a Senior Financial Control Analyst - Logistics and Supply Planning to join our team in Nashville, TN.
This role will be responsible for short- and long-term financial planning and analysis to measure, forecast, and influence the BATO Logistics business performance. Key duties include month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, communicating results versus target as well as translating industry conditions into financial insights. The role requires an individual with an analytical mindset to be able to blend finance and operations, work with large data sets, have proficiency in financial modeling and reporting, and consolidate results into a cohesive story.
Responsibilities
  • Leads monthly closing process for functional area of responsibility including analysis of results and reporting to Logistics leadership as well as the broader internal finance community.

  • Supports budgeting and financial planning to align business strategy with proper investment to fund activities that drive the business.

  • Produces in-depth analyses for review by management with recommendations and enhanced insight that will influence overall business decision making.

  • Builds and maintains strong, interactive relationships with Logistics team and other internal customers while operating independently and as part of a larger team.

  • Responsible for integrating resources effectively and anticipating conflicting needs with proactive solutions.

  • Educate the team on financial processes, ensure adherence to processes and procedures, and identifies areas for process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field from an accredited university

  • Collaboration and partnership with a team and internal customers while being able to manage work individually

  • Strong analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, and communication skills while thinking strategically and displaying solid business acumen

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel skills

  • Knowledge of operations and logistics preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of SAP, SAC, BW, and Power BI preferred but not required
