Liberty Behavioral & Community Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring that our financial practices are robust and aligned with our mission to support our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and reports to the executive team.
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to enhance the organization's stability and growth.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits.
  • Maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring that internal controls are in place.
  • Collaborate with different departments to provide financial insights that support operational decisions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA is a plus.
