OVERVIEW:
This program, based out of Pittsburgh, PA, will expose you to a broad range of business activities while working through Finance Analytics. The FDP is a 2-year rotational program in which participants, Retail Finance Associates (RFAs), complete 6-moth rotations on four different teams across crucial areas of the business. Participants are placed in one of two tracks (Accounting or Finance), depending on education, experience, and interest.
Your rotations may include:
Accounting
  • Financial Reporting/Controls/Technical Accounting
  • Internal Audit
  • General Accounting
  • Elective: Automation, Treasury, FP&A

Finance
  • Non-Merchandise Procurement
  • Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • FP&A Business Support Store Operations
  • FP&A Supply Chain

Upon completing this structured program, you will be placed into a full-time role based on business need, as well as your overall performance throughout the rotations and specific areas of interest.
*Relocation assistance will be provided for non-local candidates who accept full-time jobs requiring them to be located at DICK'S Sporting Goods Corporate Office.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to independently make data-driven recommendations
  • A curiosity and desire to learn about consumer and retail trends, including customer demographics, purchasing influencers and emerging technology
  • Dynamic written and verbal communication style to read and write reports, as well as communicate cross functionally and vertically throughout the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Less than 1 year experience required.
  • An ability to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA
