Job description

As a trusted name in the industry, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations, from sales and service to customer satisfaction and community engagement. Our new, modern facility has been built for success and is looking for a Finance Assistant.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Audit deal paperwork for accuracy and ensure all parts have been completed (signatures, Verify VIN, etc).
  • Assemble, review, and submit funding packages per lender requirements.
  • Compile reports on all money due from deals, including but not limited to: bank , funding, deposits, rebates, sales proceeds, etc.
  • Report vehicle sales to manufacturers; verify and submit manufacturer rebates; post and reconcile rebate and service contract statements and schedules.
  • Prepare title work for sold vehicles, ensuring accuracy of name, address, lien information, taxes etc.
  • Prepare daily sales report for new and used vehicle sales.
  • Review and reconcile end-of-month statistics on vehicle sales and sold contracts.
  • Communicate with Sales management and department regarding sales transactions.
  • Understand how to calculate taxes on deals (what is and not taxable).
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information, dealership policies, procedures, privacy, and compliance laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work some evenings and Saturdays
  • 2+years automotive dealership experience preferred
  • Accounting knowledge preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Detail orientated
  • Follows through to complete all tasks
  • Maintain a professional appearance and neat workspace
  • Strong communication and people skills- both written and verbal.
