Short Intro and About the Job

This Yogurt and Shakes Category Finance role is a key position within the Finance organization, providing strategic financial support to the Category's Marketing and Innovation teams. Reporting to the Yogurt Category Finance Sr. Manager, this role partners closely with Brand teams and cross-functional stakeholders to help drive informed decisions, profitable growth, and strong execution. This is a hybrid role based in either the White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO.

  • Partner with Brand and Innovation teams to develop P&Ls for new product innovation and renovation opportunities; constructively challenge assumptions related to volume, pricing, and input costs; participate in the stage-gate process; and help ensure new launches are accretive to the P&L
  • Manage and control assigned Brand A&P budgets, including annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and actuals
  • Recommend funding allocations as business needs evolve and identify solutions to address funding gaps
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of marketing investments, including innovation support and media spend
  • Communicate key financial results, risks, opportunities, and plans to Category business partners in a clear and actionable way
  • Own required Danone reporting processes, including loading the latest A&P outlook into Tagetik and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, simplify complex topics, and enable fact-based recommendations

The salary range for this position is $85K - $122K USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. About You
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • You have 4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally consumer-facing company (e.g., consumer packaged goods, retail)
  • You have strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment
  • You have strong system skills including data modeling, specifically with SAP, Tagetik, Excel, Power BI
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
  • You are proactive, constructive, and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to ownership, simplicity, and continuous improvement
