Job Description
Hamilton Connections is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will conduct inspections to ensure conformance to product specifications and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Works from job instructions, blueprints, and other specific procedures.
• Perform inspections as required utilizing conventional layout inspection techniques and equipment. Examples include calipers, micrometers, gauges, and scales.
• Support receiving, in-process and final inspection.
• Creates, completes, and compiles necessary documentation related to Quality Inspection standards, accurately and efficiently.
• Assist others with inspection techniques.
• Support other Quality Department functions as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
• Knowledge/ experience with electrical measurement equipment and hand-held gauges including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, etc.
• Ability to effectively read blueprints, mechanical drawings, inspection manuals and procedures.
• Always maintains accuracy and attention to detail and completes tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to pass the inspection eye exam (including color vision test).
• Knowledge of dimensional, visual and mechanical inspection processes.
• Possess a high level of dexterity to perform tasks related to the inspection of small parts
