Job description

A growing aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Inspector to support inspection and quality control activities for advanced composite components used in aerospace applications. This role plays an important part in ensuring products meet strict customer and regulatory quality standards.

The position involves hands-on inspection, documentation, and collaboration with production teams to maintain high quality standards and support continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace composite components

  • Inspect incoming raw composite materials and support laboratory testing requirements

  • Conduct daily environmental particle (dust) counts

  • Mark and identify parts as required by manufacturing procedures

  • Utilize and maintain calibration of standard measurement and inspection tools

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications

  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records

  • Scan and maintain documentation including certifications, packing lists, and travelers

  • Support production teams in identifying and resolving quality-related issues

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and consistency

  • Assist with general quality activities as needed within the manufacturing environment

Basic Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of inspection experience within aerospace or precision manufacturing

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong math and measurement skills

  • Working knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection methods

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

Preferred Experience
  • Experience inspecting composite or molded aerospace components

  • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience working under AS9100, ISO9001, or similar quality systems

  • Additional experience in aerospace inspection environments is a plus


Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
