Job Summary

Southern Company Services is seeking a creative Video Editor I to produce high-quality video content for training, communications, and business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience editing professional video projects, creating engaging visual content, and working collaboratively with creative teams. Candidates must submit a portfolio or work samples demonstrating their video editing skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into polished, professional productions.
  • Select and organize footage to create engaging visual stories.
  • Add graphics, text, animations, transitions, and visual effects.
  • Edit and mix audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects.
  • Perform color correction and visual enhancements.
  • Optimize videos for web, social media, mobile, and other digital platforms.
  • Render and export videos in multiple formats and resolutions.
  • Maintain organized project files and media assets.
  • Collaborate with producers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality content.
  • Incorporate feedback and ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field preferred.
