Job description

NOW HIRING: FINAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN 2ND SHIFT

Location: West Columbia, SC

Pay: Competitive Pay (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Final Assembly Technician for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components while ensuring products meet quality standards and customer delivery expectations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

-Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to drawings and specifications.

-Assemble sensors and wiring according to wiring diagrams.

-Prepare and organize materials according to production schedules.

-Perform drilling, sawing, filing, and component adjustments as needed.

-Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.

-Complete product testing and document results.

-Troubleshoot and rework assemblies when necessary.

-Package finished products according to specifications.

-Maintain accurate production records and provide order feedback.

Qualifications:

-2+ years of assembly and testing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

-1+ year of wiring experience required.

-Technical degree preferred (relevant experience may be considered).

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and electrical schematics.

-Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments.

-SAP experience is a plus.

-Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
