Overview
Product Assembly - Job Description
Zinga is part of Filtration Group. Filtration Group is a global market-leading provider of filtration consumables that are designed to drive innovation and deliver solutions across a broad spectrum of applications and end-markets, with a focus on life sciences, indoor air quality and industrial technologies.
The Product Assembly position is a first shift role. This position will be located within the Zinga - Filtration Group facility in Reedsburg, WI.
Position Summary - Product Assembly
This position performs the tasks associated with production and assembly which include pleating, seaming, banding, element assembly, canning, silk screening, packaging as well as various machine operations. This position also performs the tasks associated with final assembly which include assembling various products. The employee in this position will be cross trained in different segments of the floor with the overall goal of having a good, general working knowledge of each segmented area, based on the needs of the customer, and the schedule of production. Under the direction of our team leaders and the production manager, the employee will complete assigned steps in compliance with corresponding safety, productivity, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities - Product Assembly
  • To perform any of the various machine functions as assigned by the team lead or production manager.
  • Works in a quality conscious and safety-minded manner.
  • Ability to perform work at a process speed and/or standard rates.
  • Work from product specifications or manuals to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ability to move between job functions of operations with relative ease.
  • Perform simple, routine, and repetitive tasks using standard procedures.
  • Advise lead or supervisor with any problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, and materials.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by lead or supervisor.
  • Keeps workstations, tools, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
  • Follows all plant and department safety rules and regulations.
  • Understands and embraces Zinga - Filtration Group's culture.
  • Must be able to occasionally life up to 40lbs with no restrictions.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, stretch in repetitive motions with no restrictions.
  • The shift is from 6:00 am to 2:30 PM.

  • Starting pay at (hourly) $19.25 to $19.55 (DOE).

Skills and Experience - Product Assembly

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred (but not required).
  • Must be able to read, write, and count.

  • Must be able to work sitting or standing for up to 8 hours.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Dependability and Punctuality is a must.
