Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Filterbuy, a leader in air quality and manufacturing, is seeking a dependable Customs Assembler to support our wholesale operation by preparing customized wholesale orders with a high level of accuracy and quality. This role focuses on picking, kitting, custom boxing, labeling, light data entry, and quality checks to ensure wholesale customers receive the correct product, packaging, and documentation on time and in compliance with internal procedures. Accuracy, attention to detail, and safe work habits are critical in this role.
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)
  • Pick, pack, and prepare wholesale custom orders according to work orders, pick tickets, and customer specifications.
  • Assemble/customize packaging as required (select correct box size, cut/resize boxes safely, insert product/inserts, and seal properly).
  • Apply labels and documentation accurately (shipping labels, carton labels, SKU labels, customer-specific labels, pack slips, and any required compliance materials).
  • Verify specifications and quality throughout the process (correct filter size, count, labeling, packaging integrity, and presentation).
  • Perform basic data entry and updates in internal systems (confirm quantities, complete order notes, close out tasks, and report discrepancies).
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by staging product correctly, confirming counts, and alerting leadership to shortages, damages, or variances.
  • Identify and resolve issues such as incorrect packaging, mislabeled cartons, damaged product, or missing components; escalate when needed.
  • Operate standard warehouse equipment/tools safely (tape guns, boxing knives, handheld scanners, label printers, etc.); follow PPE requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S/warehouse best practices.
  • Support overall warehouse workflow by assisting with receiving, replenishment, staging, or other duties as assigned to stay productive.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders in English.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to learn internal systems (WMS/ERP/order platforms).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability (punctuality and consistent attendance).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience in warehouse, fulfillment, packing, shipping, or light manufacturing.
  • Experience with label printers, handheld scanners, and shipping systems.
  • Prior experience handling customized/kitting orders or wholesale fulfillment.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods working on feet; frequent bending, twisting, pivoting, stooping, and reaching.
  • Frequent use of hands for packing, labeling, taping, and cutting boxes.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, verify labels, and inspect product/packaging.
