Job description

Adecco is assisting a local client to fill an Executive Administrative Secretary position in Frankfort, KY. This is a long-term, 1st shift opportunity.  This position requires a professional and positive attitude with a willingness to assist all staff in building. This job will require duties away from the desk, with different responsibilities each day, and routine tasks to maintain.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (earlier on some days per client)

Pay: $18.16 an hr. and weekly pay

Responsibilities:

·       Date stamping of all incoming filings and mail correspondences

·       Filing cases both electronic and paper copies

·       Scan and log all incoming mail into electronic case management system and/or distribute to appropriate staff

·       Maintain and update all case files and other filings, whether electronic or paper, in order to assure complete and accurate and located in proper location as determined by the case number and the status of the case

·       Assist staff and public with PSC records and track files that have been checked out by staff

·       Maintain the integrity of the case files ensuring complete and accurate.

·       Maintain inventory of needed supplies and submit purchase request when necessary

·       Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

 

·       Excellent organizational skills required

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Acquires job skills and learns policies and procedures to complete routine tasks

·       Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence, and memos

·       Ability to give high priority to customer service

·       Ability to solve problems with a minimum of supervision

·       Basic office skills helpful including basic math, proper cash handling procedures

·       Must maintain a professional appearance and a Can-Do, positive attitude towards all guests and staff

·       Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

·       Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed

·       PC Skills and Knowledge

·       Ability to use basic office equipment including Fax, copier, printers

·       Must be able to easily and frequently change from one activity to another while operating a switchboard or computer keyboard
