Our attorneys are frequent speakers at legal conferences, have earned accolades for their service, and have handled high-profile cases featured in national media and law school curricula. We specialize in wrongful death, catastrophic injury, truck and car accidents, workplace injuries, product liability, and other tort cases. Our high-energy environment is driven by passionate advocates who prepare every case for trial from day one, handling numerous trials across Texas annually.

At our core, we operate with a results-driven mindset. Every role—from intake to case management to attorneys—understands how their work directly impacts case value, client experience, and firm growth. The Role

The Medical Manager coordinates the medical treatment and development of clients involved in non-wrongful death commercial vehicle accident and trucking cases within the firm's litigation departments. This role ensures clients receive timely and appropriate medical care, treatment progresses according to plan, medical documentation is complete, and the legal team has the information necessary to maximize case value and client recovery.

Core Goals

  • Maximize medical damages and overall case value
  • Ensure clients receive timely and appropriate medical treatment
  • Maintain complete and organized medical documentation
  • Identify future treatment needs and damages early in the case
  • Improve communication between providers and legal teams
  • Deliver exceptional client support throughout the medical treatment process

Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Treatment Coordination: Coordinate surgeries, imaging, therapy, pain management, and specialist care for assigned clients. Maintain treatment plans, assist with scheduling and referrals, and monitor progression.
  • Medical Strategy & Case Development: Identify treatment gaps and non-compliance, recommend additional development, build future damage model proposals, and update treatment strategy throughout the life of the case.
  • Documentation & Provider Management: Serve as the primary liaison with medical providers. Audit bills and records, follow up on missing documentation, and maintain accurate records within Filevine.
  • Client Medical Support & Damages: Conduct Life Impact interviews, document physical, emotional, and lifestyle limitations, and develop future damages proposals for qualifying cases.
  • Team Communication & Collaboration: Provide bi-weekly treatment updates, participate in case strategy discussions, escalate issues requiring attorney involvement, and collaborate with case teams to support progression.

Key Characteristics

  • Strong medical knowledge and understanding of treatment progression
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client-focused with a professional demeanor
  • Collaborative team player with a results-driven mindset
  • Self-motivated with strong accountability

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in medical case management, legal case management, or a related healthcare role
  • Prior experience in a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Filevine or similar case management software
  • Understanding of medical treatment, billing, and documentation processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (no cost to employees)
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Generous paid time off
  • Paid parental leave
  • Professional development assistance
  • Life insurance
