Description:

Performs general repairs for roofing projects when necessary.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assess dry rot or other damage on client's roofs.
  • Perform minor roof installs.
  • Identify and report storm related damage to manager.
  • Communicate effectively and directly with manager and customers.
  • Provide detailed reports and attach photographs via the FileMaker Go application.
  • On occasion, being available to work overtime and be “on-call” status during weekends.
  • Complete daily inventory of materials and tools needed prior to beginning assigned route.
  • Maintain professionalism, always.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Prior experience in the installation of shingles roofing systems and flashing.
  • Licensed driver in the United States.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely while following GPS instructions.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of utilizing a smart phone, and the application FileMaker Go.
