4th & 5th Gen Fighter Aircraft Subject Matter Experts
Location
Remote, US (Primary)
Position Summary and Job Responsibilities
BGI is currently seeking part time SMEs to assist in the development, integration, and test of Autonomous Collaborative Platform (ACP) analysis and assessment software. SMEs must be experts in fighter tactics and flying operations. SMEs will use their knowledge of fighter operations and AF/ANG/USN/USMC publications to provide consistent and accurate SME input during software development, integration, and test. The position is remote with travel to Dayton supporting integration and test events.
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct software test and evaluation of assessment and analysis features prior to delivery to customer
  • Provide pilot SME input in support of development of tooling to create assessment and analysis of ACPs
  • Support customer to plan, execute and debrief mission-based test missions in support of ACP assessment
  • Support execution of verification and validation missions as analysis and assessment software operators
  • Provide accurate test results during debrief sessions and email correspondence to capture test discrepancies
  • Review customer feature requests and provide input for new software development

Required and/or Preferred Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Pilot or Weapon System Officer experience in a multi-role fighter aircraft (F-35, F-22, F-16, F-15E, F/A-18, EA-18G, or comparable aircraft)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of 500 hours in a multi-role fighter aircraft (F-16, F-15E, F/A-18, F-22, F-35 or comparable aircraft) as pilot or weapon systems officer
  • Must have been qualified in the above listed fighter aircraft within the last 5 years, or qualified as a contract instructor in the preceding two years
  • USAF Fighter Weapons Instructor Course, Marine Corps Aviation Weapons and Tactics graduate or Navy Top Gun graduate

Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a USG Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Must be able to support company paid travel to/from Dayton, OH up to one week a month
  • MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN
