Position: Middle School Math Faculty and Tutor

Reports To: Director of Academics

Location: CCA 333 Inverness Dr S Ste 100 Englewood CO 80112

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Compensation: $52,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience

Reporting Period: August 1 – May 31 (school breaks off except required staff development days)

Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Position Overview:

Middle school teachers at CCA deliver engaging instruction while nurturing academic growth, character formation, and spiritual development within a Christ-centered learning community.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and oversight in assigned functional areas
  • Contribute to student growth through Christ-centered engagement
  • Execute role duties with excellence, stewardship, and integrity
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and goals
  • Support the spiritual, academic, and relational health of students
  • Lead and strengthen the sixth-grade math program through high-quality instruction aligned with CCA’s academic vision and standards.
  • Provide targeted tutoring and intervention support for students across multiple grade levels through one-on-one and small-group instruction, helping students achieve academic growth and mastery.
  • Increase the capacity of the Academic Team to identify and address student learning needs, particularly in mathematics, through timely support and progress monitoring.
  • Support the long-term growth and sustainability of the middle school program by expanding faculty expertise, improving student outcomes, and strengthening the overall math pathway at CCA.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
  • Teaching certification or eligibility
  • Elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Commitment to Christian education
  • Other duties as assigned could include supervision duties, event and Flex Friday support or instruction, and other needs during the school day. Participation in faculty meetings, in-service days, and Middle School Grade Band meetings is expected.

Contingency:

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks and compliance with all applicable state and licensing requirements.
