Overview

Provide service and support to production, engineering, and sales with focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality standards, and supporting 100% customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Professional QualificationsEducation

High School or equivalent

Experience
  • Some evidence that demonstrates an aptitude to kit jobs according to written procedures and verbal direction.
  • General Manufacturing and/or stockroom experience is preferred but not required.
General
  • Ability to meet the Physical Requirements of the position.
  • Excellent physical dexterity and motor skills.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision and counting small parts.
  • Good reading (English) comprehension skills.
  • Good oral communication and listening skills to communicate effectively with Supervisor and coworkers.
  • Adequate comprehension to understand and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Must be dependable, cooperative, motivated, and have good attendance.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform Assembly work within Standard Assembly Times.
Position ResponsibilitiesSpecific
  • Pick, organize, and prepare components for production jobs.
  • Assemble kits according to work orders and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Verify part numbers, quantities and revisions.
  • Ensure kits are complete and delivered to production on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitting area.
  • Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs. from UPS or FedEx truck etc.,
  • Detail oriented when receiving Packing Slips and shipping documents.
  • Organize material, verifying quantities, lot tracking, receiving material into Syteline and shelving the material using FIFO guidelines.
  • Communicate to various groups and individuals when packages have arrived. Problem solving issues with shipments. Labelling and stocking the shelves according to FIFO guidelines. Filling Job Order shorts from the Short Board.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Maintain accurate stock levels
  • Report low inventory or shortages
  • Help with stock rotation and material traceability
General
  • Documents actions by completing appropriate Manufacturing and Quality documentation.
  • Maintains supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level and expiry. Anticipate needed supplies.  Alert manufacturing Supervisor to place orders for supply replenishment.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment by complying with all pertinent rules, procedures, regulations, and policies.
  • Performs routine and ad hoc parts inventory counts.
  • Records time and activities for kitting Work Orders and any production logs.
  • Must represent LI-COR in a positive, professional manner.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of Assembly Competency, Efficiency to Standard Times, and overall Quality workmanship.
