PURPOSE
The casual teammate -under the supervision of management- performs routine labor in various locations of the restaurants and cafes. Areas may include but are not limited to dish room, dining areas, retail shops and stock rooms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Works in stations to prepare and serve food
  • Ensures that pots and pans are clean, dried and put away
  • Ensures that the dish room is clean. This includes assisting with keeping area clean throughout working shift
  • Washes tables and chairs in dining area as needed
  • Removes trash in dining areas when full. Cleans dirty garbage cans before replacing with clean bags.
  • Replenishes napkins, silverware and condiments when needed
  • Clean toaster and microwave areas when needed
  • Assists with stocking of any items
  • Assist with sushi creation, rolling, and cutting
  • Follows FIFO rules and plan-o-grams and par sheets and other inventory rules as needed
  • Has a general knowledge of, understands and follows health codes and policies including HACCP and sanitation
  • Other duties may be assigned to reach individual and organizational goals

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally
  • Occasional computer use

SCOPE AND DIRECTION
  • Reports to: CAS Restaurants and Cafes Management
  • Direct Reports: None
  • FSLA Status: Hourly- Non Exempt
  • Rate of pay $16.00 per hour
