Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

  • Provide individualized or smallgroup training based on each guest’s abilities, needs, and goals.
  • Lead safe, engaging classes with proper alignment cues, modifications, and supportive supervision.
  • Select movements and design routines that match participant experience levels and physical limitations.
  • Maintain a calm, attentive presence and uphold Canyon Ranch service standards in every interaction.
  • Clean equipment and activity areas after each session to support safety and readiness.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and exceptional guest service in all settings.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 3-5 years of teaching experience in the fitness industry.

  • Acquire a group fitness certification within 90 days of start.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or a degree in a movementrelated field is a plus.

  • Current CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge must be obtained within 90 days of employment

  • Strong movement and alignment knowledge; Understanding of body mechanics, technique, and injuryprevention principles.

  • Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to engage and work with a diverse group of guests.

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

  • Use of services and facilities including the spa, fitness classes, lectures, and overnight stays at all Canyon Ranch locations nationwide.
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • A supportive, collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

The pay rate for this position starts at $25/hour.

The wage for this role may take into account factors for compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure or certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
