About Us Capital Pump & Equipment (CPE) is a leading provider of industrial pump rentals and fluid-handling solutions. The Role We are seeking a Field Crew Leader to join our growing team in Houston, TX. In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside a team of Field Installers to support the set up and service of pumps and equipment on job sites. If you are a team player who is experienced in leadership, mechanically inclined and enjoys coaching others, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in the equipment rental industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of crew members in the installation and/or removal of pumps, piping and related equipment.
  • Test and inspect equipment, parts, and other components to ensure safety and proper functionality.
  • Operate and maintain small hand and power tools to support job site work.
  • Ensure crew members follow company safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Promptly address safety concerns.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance tasks in the field.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.

What You'll Bring

  • Prior experience leading a team in a related field (construction, equipment installation/repair, etc.) is required.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a safety-first mindset.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Forklift certified is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days. CPE will provide training and certification.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
  • Experience in the rental pump industry is a plus-HDPR fusion experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record required; CDL is a plus!
