Job Title: Field Training Coach - Colorado & Wyoming

The Field Training Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training field employees to build competencies in hazard identification, risk mitigation, and safe, efficient rig operations through hands-on, in-field support. This role works directly alongside crews to reinforce Precision's standards and operates on a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotational schedule.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
  • Travel to rig sites to provide hands on coaching and training while working directly alongside field crews
  • Reinforce safe work practices by conducting Work Instruction and Hazard Assessment reviews and observing task execution
  • Train crews on key safety processes, including Step Back and SOV, and support effective use of operational tools (e.g., Unvired)
  • Develop crew competencies through on the job training, technical skill development, and in field performance assessments
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, communication, and safety, while supporting training initiatives and compliance requirements

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education and field experience as a Driller or above preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract and required safety certifications (Well Control, H2S, First Aid, Fall Protection, Rig Rescue, Confined Space)
  • Proven experience in training, coaching, and mentoring field personnel with a strong safety record
  • Strong knowledge of drilling operations, equipment, and performance optimization, with an understanding of company standards and HSE practices
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational, time management, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SuccessFactors)
