Job description

IAH Cloud Services Inc. is seeking a Field Technician Assistant to support onsite technical operations in Pasadena, TX.

Position Summary

The Field Technician Assistant provides hands-on assistance to field technicians during installation, service, and troubleshooting activities. This temporary, onsite role is ideal for a dependable individual who enjoys learning on the job and contributing to accurate, timely service outcomes.

In this role, you will help prepare equipment, support customer-facing work under technician guidance, and maintain organized job site readiness. You will follow established safety procedures and support quality standards throughout each assignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist field technicians with setup, installation support, testing, and basic troubleshooting tasks as directed

  • Prepare and stage equipment and materials before service visits, ensuring items are accounted for and ready for use

  • Support routine inspections and documentation of job status, parts used, and completed work tasks

  • Maintain safe and clean work areas, following all site and company safety procedures

  • Communicate professionally with onsite team members and assist with customer coordination when appropriate

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work onsite in Greater Houston, Texas Area for temporary assignments

  • Comfort with hands-on tasks, learning new procedures quickly, and following step-by-step instructions

  • Willingness to assist with physical work, including lifting and carrying equipment as needed

  • Strong reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to completing assigned tasks accurately

  • Basic troubleshooting mindset and willingness to ask questions and escalate issues to the lead technician
