Job description

What You Will Do:
As a Video Field Support Specialist at Independent Software, you will provide hands-on support for Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and end-user devices in secure customer environments. You will install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify hardware while providing technical support for integrated systems and software. Your role is essential to ensuring reliable system performance, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end-user devices, including personal computers, thin clients, network interface cards (NICs), telephones, monitors, printers, pagers, and radios.
  • Perform maintenance and technical support on end-user devices, integrated systems, and subsystems.
  • Install and configure software at customer and field locations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to end-user equipment.
  • Deliver responsive technical support while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise installing, repairing, and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience providing remote technical support to end users.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory security and policies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience; OR
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

Certifications:
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification

Clearance Requirement:
  • Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role
