What is the Opportunity?

Ovivo is seeking a Field Service Technician (FST) to support the installation, commissioning, and longterm performance of our equipment at customer sites across North America. This role is a key customerfacing position that directly contributes to the success of Ovivo's technologies in the water and wastewater treatment market.

As an FST, you'll work handson with mechanical systems, controls, and treatment equipment while partnering closely with Engineering, Project Management, and our customers' operations teams. If you're driven, mechanically inclined, and excited to help solve realworld water challenges, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

You must live within 1 hour from a major airport as this position requires frequent travel (approximately 65%).

What is the Role?

System Installation & Commissioning

  • Support the installation of Ovivo equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and controls checkouts prior to system startup.
  • Assist with commissioning activities to ensure equipment is operating to specification.
  • Manage QA/QC documentation, punch lists, and project closeout tasks.

Maintenance, Repair & Technical Support

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on installed equipment.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers within your assigned territory.
  • Provide operator training and ongoing technical support to ensure successful longterm operation.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and make recommendations that support customer needs.

Problem Solving & Field Expertise

  • Diagnose mechanical, process, or controlsrelated issues in nonstandard situations.
  • Exercise independent judgment in the field with wide latitude for decisionmaking.
  • Represent Ovivo professionally while building strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong knowledge of water or wastewater treatment equipment and processes.
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident interacting with customers and team members.
  • Comfortable generating and modifying Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Able to read and understand technical procedures and documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical communication.
  • Solid math skills and the ability to make decisions using multiple variables.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks from multiple stakeholders.
  • Selfmotivated and capable of completing projects with indirect supervision.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license; passport or ability to obtain one.

Education, Training & Experience

  • An associate degree in a related technical field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of directly applicable experience in field service, project management, or water/wastewater equipment operation or maintenance - or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to:

  • Walk, sit, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
  • Use hands and arms for handling tools and equipment.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed.
  • Maintain visual acuity for close work, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
  • Able to lift 30โ€“50 lbs frequently and up to 75โ€“100 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a mix of customer sites, industrial environments, and moderatenoise settings.
  • Travel is required approximately 65% of the time, must live within 1 hour from a major airport.
