Dixie Diesel Service, LLC is hiring an experienced mechanical problem solver to join our Washington, UT team as a full-time Field Service Technician! You'll spend your time traveling to assigned locations and completing exceptional on-site repairs and maintenance. THE BASICS OF BECOMING OUR FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Pay: We value your experience, and you'll earn $30.00 - $45.00/hour based on your qualifications

Schedule: You'll typically work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Field Service Technician, you'll work out in the field to complete exceptional on-site maintenance and repair services. When clients' vehicles and trucks have issues, you'll spring into action to troubleshoot problems and do whatever it takes to fix things. Depending on the job, you will:

  • Provide professional roadside service
  • Perform digital diagnostics to identify issues
  • Complete general maintenance, like changing oil and fluids
  • Service electrical components, including lights and air conditioning systems
  • Perform high-quality mechanical repairs on drive-trains, exhaust systems, fuel systems, etc.
  • Service parts like alternators, radiators, batteries, belts, and more
  • Complete on-site welding as needed (steel and aluminum)

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS

What You Need

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Self-motivation to do an excellent job and stay on task throughout the day
  • Solid communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
