Job description

The Field Service Specialist's primary role is to service and repair Palfinger customer’s equipment at customer’s or related location. This position will be field based and travel across the US.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Travel to Job sites and perform field service repairs, updates and troubleshooting for mobile bucket trucks while using high degree of independent judgment.
  • Perform maintenance as assigned per regional manager and as schedule.
  • Schedule work and move onto the next task without supervision.
  • Communicate on mechanical issues and needed repairs their regional managers.
  • Responsible for daily service documentation that consists of estimates, work order authorization, ordering and recording parts, labor, and inventory documentation.
Your Qualifications:
  • High School or GED expected minimum.

  • 2–3-years mechanical experience or training with emphasis in the area of bucket trucks preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 80% throughout the eastern seaboard Monday through Friday.

  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM system.

  • Proven ability to work independently, to take initiative and be resourceful.

  • Must speak, read, and write English.
