We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer in the Tampa, FL region to support our growing installed base of Samsung imaging systems. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working directly with customers, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare environments.

Position Summary

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Samsung Diagnostic X‑Ray and Ultrasound systems. This customer‑facing role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues on Samsung Diagnostic X‑Ray and Ultrasound systems in clinical and hospital environments.
  • Perform installations of new imaging equipment and verify system performance prior to customer acceptance and clinical use.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
  • Perform corrective repairs and manage replacement parts efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers regarding system status and service activities.
  • Attend and successfully complete required product training programs and certification courses to maintain advanced technical expertise.
  • Build strong customer relationships through responsive service and a commitment to service excellence.
Requirements Education
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Networking, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of one year of hands‑on experience servicing medical equipment or comparable technical systems.
  • Experience with Digital Radiography (DR), Ultrasound, PACS, and DICOM networking is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage service priorities effectively.
