About the RoleAre you seeking an opportunity to work with Semiconductor manufacturing equipment? You will provide customer support for onsite installations, repairs and maintenance of photolithography semiconductor equipment primarily in Hillsboro Oregon.  Serve as a technical lead, supervise field service engineers , collaborate with engineering, and ensure customer equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtime. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the cutting edge of technology and join a dedicated team enabling new technology to improve processes in a pre-production environment.  Your ImpactPlease note: this is a customer-facing role, and requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19   - Collaborate with engineering to conduct tests, experiments, and analyze equipment data to develop actionable plans that reduce downtime and improve productivity.  - Work directly with customers to formulate and implement strategies that minimize equipment downtime.  - Supervise and monitor field technicians, providing guidance, training, and technical support.  - Perform setup, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor process equipment in the field.  - Participate in equipment installations at customer sites to ensure proper operation.  - Escalate complex or serious repair issues to senior technicians or engineers as needed.  - Monitor equipment performance to prevent malfunctions and reduce downtime.  - Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and prepare periodic reports.  - Manage inventory levels of service parts and equipment to support timely repairs.  - Provide formal training and assistance to less experienced technicians and occasionally to customers.  - Represent the company by delivering expert advice, troubleshooting product issues, and responding to inquiries.  - Report to a Supervisor or Manager. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.  AA or BS degree in a related field is preferred, plus 6 or more years of related experience.  (i.e. FSE or Technician position in a semiconductor equipment company or a technical position in the engineering field) - Hands on mechanical skills required - Hands on experience with electronic testing tools required - Able to work on equipment alone and work with other engineers as a team player under challenging situations - Additional experience or knowledge in optical, lasers, software, robotics, precision mechanical skill or chemical are plus - Excellent trouble shooting skills, verbal and written communication skills - Customer support experience is a plus - Must be able to travel and work flexible schedules - Must feel comfortable working in a cleanroom environment most of the day (wearing full clean room suit, facemask, gloves, safety glasses) - May require up to 25% car, air and overnight travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
