Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $175,000–$225,000 annually (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with expertise in SPECT and PET/CT medical imaging systems. This role involves installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced imaging equipment to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and service SPECT and PET/CT imaging systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Complete calibration procedures and equipment testing
  • Diagnose technical issues using schematics, manuals, and OEM guidelines
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and records
  • Support software updates, upgrades, and equipment improvements
  • Provide technical support and training to clinical teams

Qualifications

  • Experience in medical imaging field service or healthcare technology
  • Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of SPECT/PET/CT systems preferred
  • Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams
  • Experience with calibration procedures and CMMS systems
