Job description


MasterTech is on the search for Field Service Technicians in the Mancelona, MI area.
The successful Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, forestry, agricultural, aerial, mining, etc.) throughout Northern MI. Service truck and gas card are available.
Compensation:
  • $30.00 - $45.00/hour based on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, short & long-term disability (100% employer paid), etc.
  • Retirement savings plan
  • PTO
  • Service truck and gas card available.

Schedule:
  • Day shift, Monday to Friday. 7AM start time.

Key Qualifications:
  • 4 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Completion of a Diesel Technology program preferred, not required.
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic software (Cummins InSite, DDDL, JPro, CAT ET, Service Advisor, etc.)
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  • valid driver's license, CDL preferred, not required.
