Job description

Company Description Capstone ISG Inc., founded in 2003, provides insurance companies, government entities, and the Lloyds market with accurate, quality-driven claims services nationwide. The company combines experienced adjusters, advanced technology, and strong customer service to help clients manage claims efficiently. As Capstone expands with field offices across the United States, it remains committed to quality, consistency, and deep industry expertise. The Field Property Adjuster will investigate property damage claims on-site, document losses through detailed notes, photographs, and measurements, and interview policyholders, witnesses, and contractors as needed. This role includes reviewing policy coverage, preparing accurate estimates, and negotiating fair settlements in line with client and regulatory guidelines. The Field Property Adjuster will manage a personal caseload, maintain regular communication with clients and internal teams, and use mobile and desktop technology to submit timely, complete reports. Travel within an assigned territory is expected, along with adherence to safety standards and professional conduct in all field interactions.

  • Proficiency with claims management software, mobile inspection tools, and standard office applications.
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing, explaining coverage, and negotiating settlements with policyholders and vendors.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple claims, deadlines, and travel requirements.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating remotely with supervisors, peers, and client representatives.
  • Knowledge of insurance policy language, building components, and construction or restoration practices is highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience as a field or property adjuster, or in a related insurance or construction role, strongly preferred.
  • Relevant adjusting license(s) as required by state or client, valid driverโ€™s license, and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma required; an associate or bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field (e.g., business, insurance, construction management) is a plus.
