Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Field Operations Supervisor at our Montgomery County Yard Waste facility in Dickerson, MD.This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of the facility. Duties include supervising equipment operating staff, overseeing product bagging operations, maintaining product and supply inventories, and supervising temporary labor contractors.

Estimated Pay Range:

$63,816.48 - $87,753.12

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus one year of supervisory experience in field operations, recycling/solid waste or construction activities and three years prior experience operating heavy equipment. OR;

Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus six years of progressively responsible experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment applicable to the hiring facility. This experience must include a lead role in field operations, recycling/solid waste or construction activities.

Preferred qualifications include:

Computer skills and CDL Class B.

Note: Persons appointed to this position will be required to attend supervisory training within 6 months of appointment, or the earliest available training if training is not offered within 6 months. Complete OSHA 10 hr. General Industry Training Class.

Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
