Job description

Superior Fence & Rail of Greater Seattle, an industry leader in the residential and commercial fencing industry is seeking an Experienced Field Operations Manager. Full benefits, including health insurance are offered. Pay is between $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven employee to direct, manage and oversee our installation crews, supervise at worksites and engage in a variety of tasks associated with fence installations. This is a HANDS-ON position where you will be working in the field with the crews as needed.

The candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, prior fence or construction management experience, knowledge of business functions, job safety knowledge and strong leadership qualities. Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon passing a background check

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall supervision of Lead Fence Installers in all aspects of their duties

  • Supervise the crews moving supplies, transporting supplies/equipment and raising fencing structures; assures they are supplied with proper tools and materials and use them appropriately and effectively

  • Supervise and when needed, assist with the tasks associated with fence installation such as assembling and installing, equipment and machinery, gathering materials and building fences

  • Oversees Leads and crew as they determine appropriate locations for installations

  • Ensures instructions, drawings, and/or specifications are interpreted and followed correctly

  • Properly instructs and supervises the Leads regarding safety and appropriate operation of equipment

  • Maintain professionalism of Leads and crew and respond immediately to employee issues and customer needs

  • Interact with customers and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency (preferably with Google G-Suite)

  • Valid driver license, reliable transportation and ability to drive a truck/trailer is REQUIRED
