Job description

Packaging & Labeling Associate

PrideStaff is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Packaging & Labeling Associate for a key placement at a local manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for filling, labeling, kit construction, and quality control.

Beyond standard assembly, this advanced role requires strong mechanical aptitude to operate, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment like pneumatic piston fillers and labeling machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill containers, apply labels, construct product packaging, and assemble multi-product kits.

  • Operate, diagnose, and perform basic repairs on conveyor belts, pneumatic fillers, and automated labeling machinery.

  • Conduct rigorous quality control checks and maintain stocked shelves.

  • Clean parts, pumps, and machinery, and maintain a tidy, organized workstation.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Stand on concrete for 8+ hours (anti-fatigue mats provided) in a warehouse environment (heated, not air-conditioned).

  • Lift up to 40+ lbs. non-repetitively.

  • Repetitive use of hands/wrists for twisting and tightening lids and caps.

  • Strong fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.

  • Ability to work safely around facility chemicals (PPE provided).
