Job Title: Screen Print Operator
Department: Production
Reports To: Screen Print Supervisor
Location: Canton, MI
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, UAW Local 900 Union Position

Position Summary:

PrideStaff are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of screen printing processes, ability to manually print or run automatic printing press, be dependable, and take pride in producing high-quality printed apparel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and tear down screen printing presses for each production run
  • Align screens, refill inks, and load/unload garments efficiently
  • Read and follow work orders, color sequences, and print placement instructions
  • Operate automatic and/or manual screen printing equipment
  • Monitor production quality, making necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Cure, inspect, fold, and pack finished garments
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of screens, squeegees, and presses
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures

Qualifications:

  • Prior screen printing experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork mindset
