Description
The Field Service Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting electrical testing projects by ensuring smooth scheduling, accurate documentation, and strong communication between clients, technicians, and internal teams. This position helps maintain compliance with IEEE standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations while contributing to efficient and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule field service (FS) jobs in Salesforce (SFL), coordinating customer appointments, technician availability, equipment, and materials.
  • Manage work orders-including purchase orders, drawings, estimate forms, and job site photos-using tools such as PowerDB, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients regarding schedules, responsibilities, and project updates.
  • Coordinate labor, transportation, and material deliveries to ensure technicians and equipment arrive on site as scheduled.
  • Monitor project progress, update schedules, and provide status reports to the Project Manager and Operations Manager as needed.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain detailed project logs to support accurate and timely reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in coordination or project management preferred, ideally in electrical testing or a related industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook); familiarity with MS Project and Salesforce (SFL) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical testing processes or willingness to learn NETA standards.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations (NFPA 70E, OSHA) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively across project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: mathematical or technical experience is a plus.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and reference check.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.
